Basement Contractor Finishes and Waterproofs Large Fort Worth Basement and Crawl Space
Fort Worth, TX â Dalworth Restoration has been waterproofing local basements and crawl spaces since 1987, but one installation crew recently installed some finishing products for the very first timeâperhaps beginning a new trend in Texas basements.
After viewing the project and understanding the waterproofing repairs, the installation team and the homeowner, Amy S, decided the basement needed some finishing. For the first time, the team used floor and ceiling products from Total Basement Finishing. They used MillCreek waterproof flooring, and suspended ceiling tiles that resist water and have a 30-year warranty against mold and mildew damage.
The Dalworth installation crew waterproofed the basement using the Basement Systemâs Water Guard® Drainage System and SuperSump® Premier Sump System. The team also noticed a musty smell coming from the crawl space, entering the basement from a small opening. They then encapsulated the crawl space to prevent further water damage and mold growth.
As a member of the Basement Systems, Inc. international network of basement waterproofing experts, Dalworth Restoration has grown accustomed to waterproofing basements. After receiving a call from the homeowner saying that her basement was struggling with water damage, it was no surprise that there was a dual water issue between the basement and crawl space.
This finished basement will now serve as an entertainment room, bathroom, and laundry room. The home was built in 1926 and measures 5,106 sq/ft.
