Meet Shauna Parsons
Evergreen, VA
Shauna has been around basements and construction all her life. He father built basements, homes and concrete structures of all kinds. By helping her father she was able to learn concrete, construction principals, print reading, jobsite safety, and code. After college, Shauna started a career in manufacturing Quality Assurance, and moved up to become the youngest QA Manager in an international automotive components company.
When her father decided to retire, Shauna and her husband Bob took over the family business. Using their experience in QA, marketing and sales, they built the company into a concrete construction SERVICE company, building complete basement packages for the modular industry. While looking for ways to continually improve the package services they offered, Shauna discovered Basement Systems and became a dealer, waterproofing existing basement and repairing crawl spaces.
Since then Evergreen Basement Systems has grown to a top 30 dealer overall, and top 10 CleanSpace dealer and the one we are most proud of, the #1 Dealer per Capita in the world for 4 years in a row.
Shauna sits on the board of 3 other businesses and is active in the Chamber of Commerce. In 2006 she was named Associate of the Year by the Home Builders Association of Central Virginia.
Shauna enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband and young daughter. She donates her time and resources to charities that promote reading and learning opportunities for kids.
Shauna enjoys teaching other business people what she has learned. She participates in seminars, business owner groups and workshops geared at helping businesses grow. Healthy businesses are an important part of a strong community, and giving business owners the opportunity to gather tips, advice and lessons will strengthen the local economy. Shauna sees this as a great way to serve her community.
