Comment: We have a 1/2 basement under our home and would like an estimate to have it sealed (in the front half) and a sump pump installed so it will drain when there is significant rainfall.

Project Location: New Bern, NC 28560

Comment: Price on crawl space dehumidifer for 1500 s/f.

Project Location: New Bern, NC 28560

Comment: My basement is currently flooded. The current sump pump runs but discharges water only for a few minutes before the water flow slows down then stops even though the pump is still running. If I unplug it and plug it back in it will discharge water again for a few minutes but then again the water flow slows then stops. There is debris in the water but I don't believe the problem is the float getting stuck since the pump doesn't actually cut off and the pump initially does move water. I've already had a plumber replace the check valve in the pipe and install a larger (2") discharge pipe when the check valve initially failed due to debris I guess, and everything seemed to be working at that point so the plumber left. After he left the pump stopped working again as described above.

Project Location: New Bern, NC 28562

Comment: Have noticed a leak and a small amount of standing water in my basement, presumably due to the heavy rains we recently had. Need to have it looked at and determine the cause and what needs to be done to prevent it from happening again
