Comment: We have a persistent problem with moisture in our basement. We have a dehumidifier that runs all of the time however is not enough. Mold continues to build up on the walls and woodwork in our basement. I need something to address this because my 10 month old son has an issue with asthma. I'd like an estimate on what this would cost.

Comment: Musty basement with multiple rooms, one of which we'd like to carpet and clean up (currently with knotty pine walls, asbestos tile floor, drop ceiling with exposed pipes and duct work, and dingy windows/window wells). There is evidence of prior water damage and previous owner stated that a side room (adjacent the one we'd like to finish) has gotten some standing water in it before, but we've not seen any in the last year (with some hard rains). Still very damp and not sure how much waterproofing should be done to keep it comfortably dry and before putting down carpet. Seeking info re. water and finishing.

Comment: Flood damage approx 1 1/2 years ago; home has been vacant for that long as well; basment was professionally cleaned for mold & gutted; we recently moved in and have been running dehumifiers, but smell is still present and water intrusion is still a problem
Project Location: N. School Lane, Lancaster, 17603
Comment: We have carpet that would need to be removed and would like some flooring that would not break down or get musty when the concrete gets wet.
