The continuing education class will be held on June 14, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. – 3 p.m. at Keller Williams Partners, located at 1307 Aeroplaza Dr., Colorado Springs, CO. The class is designed to empower realtors with foundation education. Featured topics will include: 5 common foundation repairs needed, the average cost of foundation repair and foundation repairs in foreclosed homes.
Peak Basement Systems’ foundation repair book is called “Foundation Technology; A Guide to What Goes on Under Your Feet,” and will be released in print on June 14, 2010 in conjunction with the class.
This book focuses on Colorado’s water, front range soil conditions, shifting foundation cycles, soil mapping, new technology to recover lost equity, details of their realtor benefit program and more. The book is compiled by Cassi Sherman Henes who will be on hand to autograph copies of the book.

Basement Systems of Seymour, CT will be joining DesRochers Racing as the primary team sponsor for the 2010 season. Last year Basement Systems was with the team as an associate sponsor and moved up this year to the primary position. DesRochers Racing with driver Heather DesRochers will be running this year for the SK Light Modified Division championship at Stafford Motor Speedway in Stafford Springs, CT. Stafford Motor Speedway is a premier racing facility and many of the stars of NASCAR have passed through the gates of this historic raceway.
In addition to running at Stafford Motor Speedway on Friday nights, the DesRochers Racing Team will also be racing on Saturday nights in the Sportsman Modified Division at Monadnock Speedway located in Winchester, NH.

Basement Systems Sponsoring Toys for Tots Drive
Many families felt the pinch of a shaky economy this year, and with the holidays nearing there is no better time to reach out and help.
This year, more than ever, CT Valley Toys for Tots drive, organized by the Valley United Way and TEAM, Inc., saw the demand increase while the donations went down.
When Dan Fitzgerald from Basement Systems learned that he jumped in to lend a hand.
This Thursday through Saturday, December 17 to 19, Basement Systems and Wal-Mart will be sponsoring an additional toy drive outside of the Wal-Mart in Derby (656 New Haven Avenue) to ensure that needy children in the greater valley can still experience a happy holiday this year.
To encourage area residents to participate, Larry Janesky’s Basement Systems will be offering a free sump pump service to anyone that donates a new, unwrapped toy worth $10 or more.
Volunteers will be setting up outside of the Wal-Mart during the day and into the evening Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
They will also accept monetary donations to benefit the Valley United Way and TEAM, Inc., both non-profit organizations working to improve the lives of families in Connecticut.
We urge the area residents to step in an help out, so that every child in Connecticut will have a toy to unwrap this Christmas.

Solar Panels Featured in New Haven Register
In July, Basement Systems had 660 solar panels installed on a warehouse roof in order to further their position as a green corporate citizen. This weekend, the New Haven Register published an article about the solar panel open house held at Basement Systems headquarters last week. They also wrote all about the solar panel installation, and what this new source of energy means to the company as well as to others.
