Basement Systems Featured by Bob Vila
Basement Systems appeared on Bob Vila's home improvement show in a 5-part episode that covers everything you need to know fixing a wet basement, including installing a sump pump, dehumidifying the basement, and protecting it from potential home plumbing leaks.
Featured in the show was the Basement Systems TripleSafe Sump Pump, including the the UltraSump Battery Backup Sump Pump, which can pump out over 11,500 gallons of water on a single battery charge. Also featured in the show was our IceGuard discharge line protection and the WaterGuard Perimeter Drainage System.
In these episodes, the basement walls were prepared for finishing with two different types of basement wall vapor barriers - our CleanSpace Wall System and our ThermalDry Wall System vapor barrier and radiant heat barrier. Basement Systems' patented waterproof flooring tiles, ThermalDry Basement Floor Matting, were also installed.
Once the basement was waterproofed and protected from humidity, Bob Vila and his crew followed through with a basement finishing system.
