Episode 1: How to Waterproof a Basement
In the first episode, Ron Hazelton’s basement had flooded one too many times. His last flood, which soaked his house and left him pumping water and mopping his basement floor in the middle night, was the final straw. Hazelton called Larry Janesky, President of Basement Systems, Inc. over to his home to have the problem taken care of once and for all.
On his show, Ron talks with Larry about what causes basement flooding, including how water enters through basement walls, floors, and the wall-floor joint. Basement wall coverings are installed, a sump pump and WaterGuard Subfloor Drainage System are installed, and a special drain for his leaking hatchway door. The end result? A dry basement all the time!

Episode 2: Basement Finishing and Remodeling
Ron Hazelton was so happy with the work that Larry Janesky did for his basement, that when it came time for the basement to be refinished, he called him back to help.
