Jim O’Brien from Pest Quest Pest Management LLC Obtains Prestigious Professional Designation

Jim O’Brien has been awarded the Council-certified Certified Microbial Remediator, CMR by the American Indoor Air Quality Council. This prominent designation recognizes Jim O’Brien’s knowledge and field experience in the indoor air quality industry.

The IAQ Council offers nine board-awarded certifications to experienced indoor air quality professionals. Council certificate holders have demonstrated their knowledge and experience in such fields as building sciences, industrial hygiene, indoor environmental risk assessment and microbial investigation, remediation and consulting. Council certification programs are the most rigorous in the field of indoor air quality and maintain the highest professional standards.

Jim O’Brien has attended the IAQ Training Institute LLC, the Clemson University Sandhill Research and Education Center Columbia SC Master Termite Technician School, and recently has attended the Infrared Training Center (ITC) for thermography.

Jim has participated as a Certified Microbial Remediator for Pest Quest Pest Management LLC with the following projects: the Department of the United States Army, the New York City Department of Sanitation, the New York City Department of Parks, the Village of Floral Park, Covanta Waste and Consolidated Edison of New York. Jim is a member of the National Pest Management Association, the New Jersey Pest Management Association, the Indoor Air Quality Association and the American Indoor Air Quality Council. Jim currently is the regional manager of Pest Quest Pest Management LLC and oversees the crawl space remediation projects, which includes CleanSpace and mold remediation
