Although our efforts have been motivated by having a child with chemical sensitivities, we are well aware that we are all at risk from exposure from unhealthy chemicals. Gus and his CleanSpace team were able to remove decades of debris from both under our home and our attic. They conducted this work with respect for the health concerns of our family.
Fans, vacuums and coverings were used to protect the home and occupants from the dust and debris being removed. When we took the step to lay a crawl-space cover to contain the out gas from toxins poured under our home years earlier, Gus worked with us to find materials that were safe for our family.
He even discovered the source of the toxins during the course of his work (a rusted-bottomed out can of Chlordane) that had been left in a corner of the crawl space.
We felt reassured that the work was being done carefully and to the standards we would follow if we could do the work ourselves. When we later tested the air quality in our home, the crawl space cover had reduced the the levels to zero- what a relief! Gus has been a compassionate and informed person with which to work and we have been thrilled with the results.
