Foothills CrawlSpace, LLC is a family owned and operated crawl space contractor and mold remediation specialist serving the areas of Tryon, Rutherfordton and Hendersonville, Upstate South Carolina, and surrounding areas.

John began his first company in 2001 in Louisiana and in 2005, after the devasting effects of Hurricane Katrina, he relocated to Tryon, NC. Salmon then went back to New Orleans to assist former clients and friends with catastrophic mold problems. After six months in a destroyed city, he decided to relocate the business to North Carolina, finding that indoor mold in there is not at the same level of indoor problems in Southern Louisiana. What he found was an overwhelming amount of vented, dirt crawl spaces contributing to mold growth and poor indoor air quality. John found a huge need in this area for moisture control and mold remediation.

Having earned several distinctions, including Certified Microbial Remediator and Certified Residential Mold Inspector, he has been able to provide mold remediation and moisture control for the foothills of North Carolina and upstate South Carolina.

They hold membership in the Indoor Air Quality Association, Polk County Chamber of Commerce and the Indoor Environmental Standards Organization. John maintains two IAQA certifications. Foothills CrawlSpace, LLC advocates community involvement as well as maintaining professional associations and continuing education.

They are pleased to serve Polk, Rutherford, Buncombe, Henderson and Cleveland counties in North Carolina as well as Spartanburg and Greenville counties in South Carolina.
