Add Crawl Space Insulation
Unfortunately, this floor insulation only helps for part of the problem. Some of the cold air is still getting through the insulation, making the floor cold and your home harder to heat. Additionally, if the furnace is located in the crawlspace, the air ducts that bring heat from your heating into the main area of the home are sitting in the cold air of the crawlspace.The cold of the floors and air in the crawlspace is forcing the heating system to work harder, which creates higher heating costs.With the rising cost of heating, this is a growing problem!
