Before your crawlspace was lined with CleanSpace, moisture from the earth and outside collected in the wood and insulation of your crawlspace. Additionally, the air in your crawlspace cold will make your upper level floor cold.
One solution for this is to install the Crawl-O-Sphere Air System to complement your central air conditioning system. Our Crawl-O-Sphere is a quiet and energy-efficient system that draws some of the conditioned air from the upper levels and adds it to the crawlspace environment. This warm, dry air will help to dry out the area, causing the wood to dry out, the wood and carpet on your first floor dry out from underneath, and the area to be healthier. In some cases, as the buckling hardwood dries and becomes less swollen, windows and doors upstairs that had been jammed will become easier to use.
Because CleanSpace has added your crawlspace to your housing envelope, this system adds almost nothing to your heating and cooling bills.
