Crawl Space Repair Contractors in New Jersey

Are you sick and tired of seeing your New Jersey home's monthly energy bill skyrocket during those cold winter or hot summer months? If the answer is YES, read on and you will find answers on how to avoid unnecessary home repairs, create a healthier living space, and save money on your utility bills.

When it comes to home energy saving, many people tend to focus on what they can do in their main living areas, such as window replacement or appliance upgrade, etc. What's always neglected is the space underneath your house - your crawl space.

The house is one building. It operates as a system. You can't have one part of the building that is sick, and another part that is healthy. You can't rationalize that you never go in the crawl space so you aren't affected by it. Why? Simple. Air mixing.

The crawl space air is cold in winter and hot summer. It is in your building envelope and gets upstairs in one of two ways - the stack effect, or the HVAC system through your ducts. If your crawl space is vented, those vents let hot, wet, or cold air in, making your floors cold upstairs in winter and hot in summer.

To eliminate the dirt crawl space from having any negative effects on the rest of the house, Basement Systems, the world leader in dry basement and crawl space technology, developed the CleanSpace System, a ultimate solution to vented dirt crawl spaces. The CleanSpace system completely isolates your home from the earth, dramatically reducing the humidity level in the air and in some cases, eliminating mold growth, rot, and critters from your crawl space to make the entire house healthier. And once you encapsulate your crawl space with our patented vapor barrier system, you will even gain valuable storage space in your home.

From the New Jersey Skylands to the Gateway, the Delaware River and Shore regions to Greater Atlantic City and the Southern Shore, there will be Basement Systems' crawl space contractors available in your neighborhood to provide you with our patented crawl space products and quality service! Click here to contact us or call 800-638-7048 and let us solve your crawl space problem.

Crawl spaces have a bad reputation —as cramped, damp, dirty spaces that harbor bad-smelling mold, insects and other pests. The CleanSpace system of crawl space repair is designed to turn this ugly area into an asset —a part of your house you can actually be proud of. Our trained technicians make this transformation possible by combining waterproofing techniques with high-performance insulation, durable moisture barriers and effective air-sealing strategies.

The gentleman only provided an estimate. He stated that, at that time it was not necessary for any work to be done in my basement.

It went amazing. The crew showed up on time and took care of explaining the whole process to me. They were very careful in my basement and being careful to ask questions before doing anything. I really appreciated that they got done earlier than they originally expected. The waterproofing has taken care of our water leaking issues and we haven't had to keep checking the sump pump to make sure its working. We sleep with peace of mind knowing that water is no longer leaking into my basement. Thanks Basement Systems USA & Pete Westera!

Basement Systems USA came to our home, old home in Baltimore, MD, and installed a waterproofing system around the perimeter of the basement with a vapor barrier on the walls. They installed a sump pump system that has back up pumps and a battery to make sure the basement stays dry no matter what. They also installed a SaniDry, it's basically like a dehumidifier on steroids! The whole process with Basement Systems was very thorough and easy, from the moment we called, up to now. The installation went very well. The crew showed up when they said they would and the project only took two days to complete! There was no mess and the guys cleaned up after themselves. They even put down plastic to keep dirt off of our wood floors. Sean was the name of the foreman. He was very easy to communicate with and walked us through the whole process. The system is working now and the SaniDry has changed how the space feels, doesn't even feel like a basement any more! Now we are in the process of finishing the space to have for guests and it's so much more peaceful to finish a basement when you know it will stay dry.

I had a list of items I wanted the engineer to take a look at and confirm that the method that I was going to use to repair them was the correct method. It was just an overall inspection of the property. It took about two or three hours. I would recommend them.

The company took on an admittedly difficult task, involving removing the old sump pump, which was in an awkward location in a small landing with limited access. When they removed the old pump pit, I watched them fill the old location carefully, and then cement over it. The landing looks brand new now. The new sump pump required installing a new pipe through the foundation wall, which was then directed to drain in a much better way than our previous system. The basement waterproofing crew then dug out a channel along the basement perimeter, only removing a minimal amount of floor. We moved most of our furnishings and belongings out of the space, and covered the others with plastic drop cloth, because this process can be dusty. The workers walked me through the process at every step, and actually took time to teach me about how to control humidity and air quality in the basement. The waterproofing system was installed in a day, and then the following day, the team covered the system with concrete, resulting in a smooth finish around the inside perimeter. A battery back-up and flood alarm system were installed with the new sump pump. The team consulted on a design for fully improving the basement space, including work on insulated, mold-resistant floor coverings. Communication with the company has been quick, professional, and easy to understand. My wife and I are continuing to work with this company on another project because we have been so pleased with their efforts on the waterproofing and sump pump install.

They were the lowest priced company out of all the estimates I got but they did an incredible job. My basement is dry and we are excited to start utilizing the space.
