I have a complete clean space system with drains and a sanidry that really has helped my crawl space dry out. My crawl space has pea gravel with the clean space installed over it. It has a 25 year gerantee against puntures and rips. How ever the installer put tape over any puntures and left me tape for this. Wouldn't it have been better to install a liner over the gravel first? They didn't and will have to suffer any repairs for next 25 years. What is your view on this. Is there such a liner that you put under this first?

Hi,
Pea gravel under the CleanSpace liner is ok. We do have a new crawl space matting that is available to be installed under the liner, but that is really for rocky terrain. It sounds like your crawl is not a high traffic area like most crawl spaces. The new plastic-dimpled material is available from your CleanSpace installer, and again, is the right solution for concrete-rat slabs and where there maybe large rock croppings too big to move.
Thanks.
