We have water in the basement in one corner. There is a hole in our floor, it looks like it was drilled. I am thinking that is were the water is coming in from because I can't see anything else. Why would there be a hole in the basement floor? And what can I do to solve this problem?

I can not be certain why the hole is there but if it looks as if it was drilled it could be from a pest control company. They often drill holes to inject chemicals for bugs and insects. Otherwise I could recommend having a professional come out and take a look. For a dealer near you please call 1-800-541-0487

There must obviously be water under the floor and it will follow the path of least resistance. It may just be able to be patched or a sump pump or drainage may be needed? I would call your local Basement Systems dealer or call us at 1-800-541-0487 to get the dealer in your area. They can come out for a free inspection and estimate if needed.
