I an having seepage at the base of one of my basement walls. From the other threads here, it sounds like this is very common. It sounds like the Basement Systems solution would help. Someone also suggested having a plumber "roto-root" from the sump to the exterior drain tiles and that this might solve the problem. Have you ever heard of this? Also, do you have licensed contractors in the Detroit area?
thanks
You are correct this is a common problem. You certainly can have a plumber or drain cleaning service try to clean the drain pipes. However depending on the age of the home are you sure they are connected to the sump? They may be clogged with mud or even crushed closed.
We havea dealer in the Detroit area, InstaDry Basement 734-326-2074 I'm sure they can help you.
