If there is hydrostatic pressure under the basement slab, with cracking and moisture, would a waterguard system with the supersump likely resolve this problem? House is only 3 years old but we have seen a lot of cracking of the slab in the last 6 months.

Certainly if there is pressure under the slab it would need to have a system installed that can help releive the pressure. However moisture and cracking are not always a result of hydrostatic pressure. If it were water then I'm sure you would have water flowing through the cracks. In many cases newer homes will have wall and floor cracks occur in the first 5 years, this is very common. Then when the floor cracks the water vapor or moisture will come through the cracks causing dampness and dicoloration. Please check with your local Basement Systems Dealer.
