I am having your system installed. My heating system is overhead. I am trying to find out if I need to insulate my crawl space. I had to remove the insulation, the paper barrier was wet. We are letting the dehumidifer run for a few days to remove the moisture from the wood in the crawl space.

Thank you.

Hi,
You can insulate the walls(rigid foam ins.) or replace the insulation you had prior. It really depends where in the country you are living. Most building science experts say to insulate the crawl space walls.
Thank you.

I am in a simular situation with our home. The house was built in the late 50's. There never was any insulation for the floor above the crawl space or on the crawlspace walls. I installed foil insulation in our attic to reflect the sun's radiant heat back up through the roof. I am thinking of using the ThermalDry Wall to line the walls of the crawl space to reflect the radant heat back into the crawl space.
