I moved into my long island home in August 1990 and there was two feet of water in the basement due to an extreme storm equivalent to 14 inches of rain. The hydraulic pressure cracked the floor and since then we get water a couple of inches after bad storms. I installed a 1/2 hp sump pump in a corner and it drains most water build up.
We just had another severe rain storm (11 inches) and we had 10 inches in the basement.
The walls have mold up to the two foot mark.
I read basement systems web site and was impressed by the guarantees on the various products. Would the drainage systems and triple sump system keep my basement dry so I can finally use the basement space properly?
