I am having my local dealer come out and I have a question before they come out.

My crawl is dirt with plastic over it (from 28 years ago when it was built) with about 3 inches of sand over that. Should the plastic be removed as I am sure I will be getting claan space, water channel matte and triple safe super sump.

Thanks

Hi,
If there is a layer of sand ontop of the liner you may not need to remove it. Your local dealer will determine for sure, based on what work will be needed, drainage etc. It is difficult to say without seeing the crawl space. If the poly was loosely placed in the crawl, I would say it should be replaced.
Thank you!

The plastic was looslely placed and you can see it in some areas. It does have sand over it but the dealer is removing it as part of the quote.

Can't wait for the job to start. I hate water in the crawl! Job starts next Monday.

Thanks
