Wet basement!

:confused: We finished half of our basement about 10 years ago and had a sump pump installed. We had only had 1 or 2 very minor leaks up till that time. It seems that ever since we finished the basement, we have been getting water in our basement - more and more every year. It's hard to tell where it's coming from, especially on the carpeted side. But it is definitely coming in from more than one location. Right now it's been raining for about 4 days. The basement started taking on water last night. Can anything be done to remedy this situation?
