I have a crawlspace that has some damp spots on the lower parts of the blocks. It is on two sides of the foundation. There is no visible water pooling anywhere - and never has been. However, the spots are dark and almost looks like mold - but I don't feel anything moldy on the blocks. The spots are there regardless of any rain. I'm a bit concerned by it. I definitely don't have a ton of money to spend to 'fix' this issue - but do want to address it. I do have a dehumidifier in my basement, but it's not physically near the crawlspace area. Perhaps I need a crawlspace dehumidifier? I just am at a loss as to what would be causing this - any ideas?
