I had a waterguard system put in today. I'm not happy with how it came out. Basically, the waterguard was installed below the bottom of the walls, so the holes that were drilled were above the top of the waterguard lip. So, they nailed a sheet of the crawl space cover to catch the water and direct it into the channel on the top of the water guard.
It looks stupid, and now I have to finish my entire basement to cover the walls.
I wanted waterguard over drytrack because I didn't want to see anything on the walls. So, I went from a few inches of plastic to 2 feet of plastic on the wall.
What can I do about this? I plan on calling and complaining tomorrow.
