I have dust mite allergies so I don't want to place a carpet over the Thermal Dry Mat. Are there any alternatives besides wood flooring? Thanks

If you keep the humidity below 50% year round, not only will it drastically slow down mold growth, it will also greatly slow down dust mite growth.

Look for a flooring that is specifically designed for slab or basement applications. Going with wood or with anything with a paper backing is a bad idea.

But can you use something like self stick vinyl tiles or rolled vinyl flooring? Also, if Thermal dry stops water completely, couldn't you use a "floating" floor?
