Hi,
I live in a townhouse with neighbors to the left and right of me. My basement fills with water like a river. I have a french drain and well. During a consistent heavy downour, my sump pump goes off every 30 seconds! The well fills up very fast. However my neighbors on either side of me...their pumps hardly ever go off. Their wells hardly fill up.
Why is this happening to just my townhouse? I've considered that it could be a damaged underground drainage pipe that my sump pump drains into. Who would be an appropriate specialist to look at my basement? A plumber? A basement waterproofer? A civil engineer (I'll try anything)?
