Hi All,
This forum is a great idea and I hope someone answers my question.
I have a basement foundation of concreet blocks with a sum pump installed.
The sum pump works often and fine. My entire basement is dry with the exception of 2 walss, wehere in about the bottom 1 to 2 blocks at the bottom of the wall I see some discolorations that I think are wet spots.
How do I approach the issue? How can I make sure that those are indeed wet spots. (they are not wet, just a bit darker). Also what my solutions will be. Some one suggested to get a contractor to drill in the slab by the spots so they can look at the sum pump's pipe to ensure it is not damaget at that spot..also to look at the conctete blocks to ensure they are tapped correctly.
I'm in Plymouth, MN, any suggestions are appreciated. I'm trying to finish my basement and woul prefer it dry :)
Thank you.
Peter
