Pony Wall

I just had the encapsulation system installed in the crawl space. The installers ran the material up the sides of the pony wall and sealed it and not over the top. Will the incomplete encapsulation of the space cause problems in the future? My other concern is the cold and dampness concrete tends to create. I would appreciate and advise.

I have a similar problem except I have a double pony wall with one being slightly lower than the other therefore the concrete in between the two is exposed. I have yet to purchase the encapsulation system but have been given the quote. How will you work around this? Is there any problems?
