Hello,
We are having our crawl space totally encapsulated this week by a Basement Systems-referred contractor. In preparation for the large storage space we'll have when it's done, I'd like to know if there are any shelving systems that you recommend. I want to maximize the space, but also be careful of wear and tear on the vapor barrier.

Thanks!

smaceachern,

I don't have any recommendations on shelving systems but so long as you don't drag heavy, sharp items across the CleanSpace it won't pull or tear -- if you've felt the material, you'll know it's pretty tough stuff. You can stand metal shelving on it without any problem so long as the feet aren't sharp, and I wouldn't necessarily drag heavy, metal shelves across it -- but it can withstand a lot.
