Hi; Its been almost a year now since we had the Basements Systems "System" put in. Its been great. I sent a note in last year
concerned about odors if the sump water was still there and
did not go out. I was told the top is water/air tight. Not really,
since I have the drain hose from the SaniDry going right into the top of
my pump.

No odors so far. But my real question, can I flush the floor pipes into the pump and then shoot it out.?

I am not talking about massive amts of debris, mud, etc. It sure would
make mopping the floor easier work.
Hopefull
Eric

Hi Eric,

I'm not sure what you mean by floor pipes, but I have one concern with sending the mop water down into the sump pump (http://www.basementsystems.com/sump_pump/). If you're using soap or floor cleaner of some sort, then this is going to be run through the pump (which I really see no real problem with unless you're using some real strong or gummy detergent that may harm the pump) and discharged out into your yard and into the ground water. Rain water entering your WaterGuard (http://www.basementsystems.com/basement_waterproofing/waterproofing_products/basement_waterproofing_system/waterguard.php) system and then sump pump is clean water.
