Hi,
I recently discovered that due to street creep problem, I've a couple of cracks in my basement. One of the crack is about half inch thick and it is just near the horizontal beam. Currently I have bought the adjustable iron post from Home Depot and placed it under the beam but would like to know whom should I contact in case of repair.
My 2-10 warranty states that this is a structural damage and as it is caused due to some external force, it is not covered. Although they have agreed to pay some portion of it if I get a quote from some local contractors.
I need your help and expertise to guide me to right people.
