In a hot humid area such as coastal South Carolina will the Cleanspace system correct humidity problems as a "stand alone" system or should a Sanidry always be installed along with Cleanspace?

Great Question, Cleanspace is a great product that helps eliminate moisture from the soil in crawl spaces. Closing vents and sealing air leaks is also part of the system. However humidity from the upper level of the home or minor air leaks in the crawl space may still cause some humidity problems. Each home is different and depending on the situation and expectations of an individual homeowner could determine the need for a SaniDry unit. One thing for sure is that having a SaniDry will definetly improve the situation. Remember the CleanSpace system is a passive systems and adding a SaniDry is a proactive approach to minimizing any humidity. Especially in a climate like South Carolina.
