I have a Sanidry CS and it was working for a while, but then it started tripping the surge protector. Does anyone have any idea what type, i.e. 1000, 1150, 3000 joules, surge protector I need to eliminate the problem? Or, is not a surge protector problem at all? Could it be the power outlet the protector is plugged into? The Sanidry worked for a while, so I'm leaning towards it being the protector.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

brandonq,
I would try the unit without the surge protector to see if that remedies the situation. I have not heard of anyone using a surge protector on the SaniDry (http://www.basementsystems.com/dehumidifier/), but that is not to say it is not a good idea. If removing the protector helps, I would purchase a protector with larger joules capacity.
The SaniDry (http://www.basementsystems.com/dehumidifier/) needs to have its own dedicated outlet. This may also be causing a problem.
