Hello,

When insulating the crawl space with rigid insulation before coverage:
- which type should it be?
- can it be mechanically fastened instead of glue to prevent future failure?
- do I have to dig down below the exisiting dirt level to set the insulation on the footing itself..or just to the exisiting grade?
- can I buy your products directly from you?

Thanks so much,

ozzer

Ozzer,
We would use 2 inch rigid foam, but check with your building codes. I know that there are many fasteners available to use with this type of insulation, again, I know hilti has a fastening system that seems to work well. We do not endorse using any particular manufacturer. As far as the insulation level goes, your local code would apply. We do not install insulation out of our location, we would sub that work out. Your local CleanSpace Dealer is Regional Waterproofing, they are one of the best in the Country! 919 851 4500.
Thank you.
