My home is a split-level house and I am having a water control issue on the lower floor. In one closet, water is soaking the carpet. I have talked to a plumber and they said there were no pipes that could be causing the problem. The walls are also dry -- I suspect water is entering the house from underneath (if this is even possible).
The carpet is so wet that pushing down on it causes water to squish out. Is this something you can take a look at and/or help with?
