This home located in Ennis, MT had repetitive water damage and water intrusion in the basement. The team installed a WaterGuard sub floor drainage system, a TripleSafe sump pump, and an IceGuard to prevent floods from clogged or frozen discharge lines. A CleanSpace vapor barrier was also installed to add an extra layer of protection from moisture in this home.
This basement in Three Forks was having issues with water intrusion. After an inspection, we determined that installing our SmartGaurd drainage system, TripleSafe sump pump, and CleanSpace vapor barrier would prevent this space from future flooding and excess moisture. The crew quickly got to work on the project.
The products we installed in this basement are all a part of our waterproofing system. They work together to protect structures from the harmful side effects of water leaks and excess moisture. For example, our TripleSafe sump pumps offer triple protection from water intrusion. The first pump does most of the work and is able to pump up to 2,600 gallons of water per hour. The second pump serves as a back-up if the first pump fails or more pumping volume is needed. The third pump is battery operated and automatically turns on in the event of a power outage.
We are proud to say that our products provided a permanent solution to keep this basement from flooding!
One of our clients in Helena had problems with water in their crawlspace. We installed a drainage matting under our CleanSpace vapor barrier to protect this crawlspace from future water infiltration.
When ground moisture evaporates into the air of a crawlspace it can cause issues such as mold, wood rot, rust, and musty odors. In some cases, the excess moisture will cause standing water to appear on the floor of a crawlspace; especially after a heavy rain. If left unattended, these issues can deteriorate the air quality of your home, the wood framing that supports your home, and even some forms of insulation.
Installing a vapor barrier will stop air movement from the ground and help to protect your home from the adverse effects of excess moisture.
