After living in Atlantic beach for 45 years with a rising fresh water table, 5 years of increasing incidents of fresh water intrusion ( sometimes up to 3 inches ) in the basement and a sump pump that wasn't doing its job I decided I needed help.After inerviewing 3 companies and a referral from a friend I chose Complete Basement Systems.In Novemer 2011 their engineer John Rosa came in, looked at my basement, listened to my concerns and came up with a plan. Install a French Drain system with trench drains strategically placed and a Triple Safe Sump Pump.The installation crew came in and installed the system and answered any questions I had. The installation was quick and extremely clean. The system worked as promised and my basement stayed dry.Along came Sandy.At the height of the storm surge we had 2.5 feet of water surrounding our home with tremendous pressure on the ground water.Not a drop in the basement. The pump was going off every 45 seconds. With no electricity for 15 day we were running our generator 20 hours a day, shutting down for 4 hours each day. When the power was off the battery kick in and the pump continued to to run flawlessly and  kept our basement dry.I cannot recommend Complete Basement highly enough for their expertise,  professionalism and customer relations they show from answering the phone to their engineering a system to the installion of the system.
