Comment: Have a 13 year old sump pump and looking to replace it. The pit consistently has 10 inches of standing water in it and the drain tiles are bone dry. When it pumps water out, it just fills back up to 10 inches of water and then stops. I was going to just replace the pump due to it's age but wanted a professional opinion.
