Comment: I have a water problem with water coming into my crawlspace through the block during heavy rain. the water usually drains away in a few day's time, and the crawlspace stays dry for the most part, but the dirt floor is always moist or damp to the touch under the vapor barrier. I am a bit of a do it yourselfer and had plans to install a drain pipe system and a sump pump but have recently found interest in the process of sealing or encapsulating the crawlspace to waterproof it and eliminate that musty crawlspace smell and the threat of mold.
