These homeowners own a buy and resell business. They noticed they were experiencing some moisture in their basement, and knew they needed to get this fixed fast. They called Midwest and System Design Specialist, Cody Shipley, came out to help. Together, they decided on CleanSpace and WaterGuard. CleanSpace is used as a barrier to keep water out. The water goes down the CleanSpace and into the WaterGuard, which will flow to a sump pump and out of the home. This homeowner's basement had many signs of water damage on all walls, including mold growth. The main goal was to increase the health and safety conditions within the home. System Design Specialist James visited the home to provide a free, same-day estimate. We started by installing Cleanspace with a drainage mat to provide a protective barrier from the ground to the home. Next, we blocked off exterior vents, and installed a SmartDrain with our Sedona dehumidifier. With our system, we were able to control the moisture in the crawlspace which benefited the rest of the home.

Dark Crawl Space Made Usable in Clive, IA
