Before our crew cleaned out the crawlspace. You can see how wet the mud is in this photo. If you look towards the middle back you can see remnants of plastic sheeting that was put down to be a moisture barrier.
We pulled out the plastic sheeting that was already there because if left, it would hold and trap moisture. This leads to musty smells down the road.
Jamie is showing off our yard sign to all the homeowners who made need crawlspace help!
You can usually tell when a home has steps leading up to a door, there's a crawl space underneath it.
This crawlspace had severe water intrusion causing multitudes of issues. Not only was ground water seeping in in copious amounts, but the open ventilation brought in humid air.
