This is where the sump pump will be installed and have the WaterGuard drain system flow into.
Here is the original Double Window in the customers basement
The natural airflow in a house is from bottom to top. This sucks the moist air, and everything in it, up into the living areas of the home. Excess moisture in a crawlspace can be destructive and can lead to wood rot, mold growth and poor indoor air quality.
There original window to the house was no longer keeping water out and started to soak into the insulation.
A crawl space with exposed dirt floors can be the cause of moisture issues in your home and lead to a host of other problems.
Here you can see where water actually puddles on the crawlspace floor
On the side of the home we installed the IceGuard discharge lines that connect from the sump pump inside the home
This old window well was taking water so we jack hammered the duct out
