Diane Burden

Diane’s hometown was originally Toronto. Over the years, she found herself bouncing back and forth from Toronto to Barrie a few times for school or job opportunities. Diane is currently living in Newmarket where she and her family can enjoy that small hometown feeling. As Safety Manager for Clarke Basement Systems, Diane writes content for the company’s H&S policies, programs and schedules. She is also excited to write content for company newsletters, technical papers, case studies and online articles. 

As a graduate of the Radio & Television Arts program at Ryerson University, Diane had many opportunities to develop her writing skills. These skills helped open doors for writing positions in the advertising and marketing communication divisions at head offices at Radio Shack, Sony Canada and now Clarke Basement Systems. While raising her son and daughter, Diane became very interested in many areas of health and wellness from traditional medicine, nutrition and natural alternatives to chiropractic care and naturopathic medicine. The combination of Diane’s writing skills and interests in health care has given her a unique way to contribute to the company’s health and safety goals. Diane especially enjoys the chance to work with people who care about the company and its customers.

Diane likes to check out local bands, watch action movies, try out new recipes, practice yoga and play darts. Most of all, Diane loves to spend lots of time with her family and keep in touch with friends no matter where they are.
