1. Ontario receives a good amount of rain and when you add on melting snow flash floods are a serious concern.
2. When flooding hits your area, your basement is most likely to be the prime target for water damage.
3. If you allow it to be wet, moldy, humid, smelly, and unhealthy, you're abandoning an entire floor of space in your home. Additionally, the basement air - filled with odors, dust mite feces, humidity, and mold spores - will rise into the rest of the house, ruining the healthy environment of the home.
When your Ontario home has a flooded basement or a musty, moldy crawl space, your local Basement Systems waterproofing contractors are here for you. With fast installation, they can protect your below-grade space from flooding, humidity, and mold, making your basement or crawl space a cleaner, drier, healthier environment and restoring value to your home.
From Toronto to Thunder Bay and throughout Northern Ontario, our waterproofers are ready to help you and provide free basement or crawl space waterproofing quotes. No obligation free written estimates include an on-site consultation, custom waterproofing design, and a unique presentation on our products and services.

Search Request: triple safe pump system
Comment: New home built 3 years ago above high water table. Extra drainage and tile installed by builder. Two sump pits installed. Pumps in both are running regularly especially with water levels being so high. When house was built we installed generator to maintain pumps during power outages. Interested in triple pump system for basement to provide additional redundancy and peace of mind. Also wanting to find a way to have pumps operate quieter if at all possible. Comment: I think I have cracks in the basement floor, water comes in after a lot of rain has fallen. I have an area in the basement that could be used with a sump pump but I am not sure. I dont have the pump and wonder if that will keep the basement dry.

Comment: We're considering refinishing our basement but have some signs of moisture (efflorescence and staining in some areas, occasional musty smell). We're hoping to get a better understanding of how these issues could be mitigated prior to refinishing. Fyi - ours is a non urgent project as we are just in the research stage at this point.

Comment: Hello, We moved into a new house last month and are planning a basement renovation in the next 1-2 months. Before doing so, I want some confidence in our flood prevention systems. I don't know the repair history of the existing sump pump, but I know that it runs much more regularly than our last house, and when it discharges, it seems to discharge a lot of water. I'm contacting you because I'm interested in: a) Getting professional advice on if we should consider improving/upgrading what we have b) Getting a battery backup and a flood sensor c) Getting advice on external drainage to redirect the sump pump discharge further away from the foundation Thanks, John
