The basement in the home of an Alaska property owner needed waterproofing to fix the wet, moldy condition of the basement. After contacting Foundation and Crawl Space Repair, our team assessed the damaged basement and recommended equipment that would fix the problem and stop it from happening again.

We installed the WaterGuard piping system, that is engineered to solve basement water problems without worry of clogging of dirt and soils. With the addition of the SuperSump with a 17 gallon capacity and the WaterWatch alarm system water problems are eliminated.  IceGuard lets water to escape the discharge line if water freezes. LawnScape Outlet will terminate the sump pump discharge line or a gutter downspout extension into a yard.

With these tools now in place in the basement, water will be kept at bay and the safety of the entire house is better. 

The thin, flimsy plastic liner that this homeowner previously had was littered with small rips and holes. These small rips allowed water vapor to accumulate, creating a humid environment and weakening the floor joists. To prevent further moisture damage, we installed our heavy, 20 mil thick CleanSpace liner, which provides antimicrobial protection as well as puncture resistance, brute tear resistance, and flexibility. It even includes a 25-year warranty against rips and tears!
