Have you noticed stacks of cmu brick holding up the supports under your crawl? Or piles of shims to help even out the beam? If so, you are in dire need of new supports before something worse could happen. You will notice cracks forming along the drywall, uneven flooring, and even a change in how your windows and doors open. 

This has become a common thing we tend to run into, but do not worry, we do have the fix for adding in more supports such as our galvanized smartjacks that will take place of the old support.

Our customers in Eagle River called us with concerns about the floors in their house. In some places throughout their home it seemed as though the floor was "slanted" or "sagging". This problem can occur in a house that was built 100 years ago as well as a newly built one. In this case, we offer our customers a SmartJack support system under their home which becomes the new support for their floors. These pictures are a great example of what the support may look like under the house before our SmartJacks and after they have been installed. 

Settlement and stair-step cracking in the home go hand in hand. In our experience, most of the time stair-step cracks are evidence of settlement. Piers are the best solution to ensure that the home will not settle any further. 

We permanently stabilized this cabin's sinking foundation by installing helical piers to transfer the weight of the home to load-bearing soil or bedrock. They were even able to lift the cabin back to its original position, ridding of any sign that there was ever a foundation problem to begin with!

This crawlspace had a lot of water in it and high moisture levels. To eliminate these problems we installed our SmartPipe Waterproofing System for the water coming in and our SaniDry dehumidifier for the moisture.
