This Sleepy Hollow, NY home had cracking and bowing walls that was caused from soil expansion. The homeowner was very concerned for the safety of his home and wanted to take care of the problem immediately. After doing some research, he decided to set an appointment with Connecticut Basement Systems to help find him a solution. 

Glen Kerpchar was the Sales Representative who arrived at the home the day of the appointment. He concluded that in order to fix the bowing of the walls, Carbon Armor would need to be installed. He explained the benefits of the product and the homeowner agreed that this was the best solution and quickly set an appointment for a production date.

On the day of production, Victor Alves and his crew installed the CarbonArmor. After noticing wetness in their basement, a homeowner in Pelham, NY decided it was time for a change. They reached out to Connecticut Basement Systems to receive an estimate, and Sales Consultant Stephen Singley was quickly dispatched to the location. He advised installing a WaterGuard, TripleSafe, IceGuard, and Discharge Line. These, when installed together, collect water and direct it away from the house. The customer understood the importance of a dry basement and scheduled an installation. Foreman Marcio Bahiense and his crew carried out the installation in a timely manner, and the homeowner is thrilled with the result!

This basement in Eastchester, NY suffered from water damaging, which was directly caused by less-than-optimal basement water-prevention structuring. The homeowners came to Connecticut Basement Systems in hopes of improving their foundation and preventing future water damage in their house. Tony Van Deusen, one of our Sales Consultants, went into the basement to give an estimate and advise the homeowners about what they need. They found out that they needed a Waterguard to collect leaking water, XL TrenchDrain to prevent waterflooding in the entranceway, CleanSpace Wall System to block water vapor from entering the foundation walls, and TripleSafe to direct water away from the home. These were installed by Foreman Antonio Diaz and his crew in a timely manner, and now water damage is a thing of the past for these homeowners!

A homeowner in Ossining, NY was getting water in their basement that was causing damage. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us come out and solve this problem. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Steven Godbout, went out to the home to assess the issues and provide a solution. 

Once the project was approved, it would soon be time for one of our Foremen, Moises Chantes, and his crew to begin the installation. 

They installed a WaterGuard perimeter drain system that will collect water coming in from the walls or floors. Then they installed a TripleSafe sump pump that works using 3 pumps, one of which being a battery backup. This will ensure any water that comes in will get pumped out of the home at a safe distance. A proper discharge line was installed outside so that the water gets pumped out far enough away from the home. Now this basement will stay dry for the long term! 

The P. family had continuing moisture problems in their Hartsdale home and needed it fixed once and for all. They contacted the experts at CT Basement Systems and Richard our certified crawlspace repair specialist fixed all of their concerns. We took their damp dark crawlspace and transformed it into this beautiful crawlspace above with the help of our CleanSpace Crawl Space Vapor Barrier. Along with protection from mold and rot, a dry crawl space will also be inhospitable to termites, cockroaches, ants, crickets, and many other pests that need excess moisture to survive. Mice and rats are deterred by the plastic vapor barrier, and flooding waters will be kept at bay. Our Sanidry CX was also installed to make sure any moisture that was in the air would be removed. The hom owner now can rest assured that they will no longer have any moisture issues in their crawl space.
