Karen R. of Savannah, GA bought a home a year ago; however there was a moisture problem in the crawl space that caused buckling in the floors. Karen said she was also worried about mold. She called  Lowcountry Foundation Repair for help.

Lowcountry Foundation Repair installed a Complete CleanSpace Encapsulation System to remove moisture from the crawl space and reduce humidity in the crawl space. After the project was complete, the drier crawl space environment prevented microbial growth. Karen was happy to prevent problems in her crawl space.

Common among homes in Savannah, GA, this home was also experiencing an issue where the subfloor insulation would fall down. This is a common sign of a moisture issue in the crawl space, so our team installed an encapsulation in order to seal out moisture and control the humidity level of the air.

Before encapsulating the floor with our CleanSpace vapor barrier, drainage matting was installed throughout the floor to prevent moisture build up. The dimples on the matting creates an easy drainage path for water to drain to the sump system for easy removal. 

The StarPipe system was installed outside this foundation wall to collect water and reroute from the foundation wall.
