Foreman, Andre L. and his production crew installed a basement wall vapor barrier system with a full perimeter drainage system to completely waterproof the customers basement. 

In this home, majority of the basement is finished but there is a section of the basement that is unfinished that the owner uses as a garage. Unfortunately, water was getting in through the walls in the unfinished section and causing some water damage. Concerned about the water spreading to the damage section of the basement, the homeowner wanted to get the basement waterproofed.

The components for waterproofing this basement included installing a drainage system, a sump pump, and a vapor barrier to protect the walls. For the drainage system, Ken and his crew installed the WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system to collect any water seepage that may come from the floors or wall. Then that water can be pumped out by the TripleSafe pump system. Ken also installed IceGuard and LawnScape to keep the system from getting frozen or clogged. The finishing touch was the CleanSpace vapor barrier which protects and prevents moisture from getting into the basement and causing any problems.

This customer called voicing concerns about water leaking into her home. She stated that she was noticing several gallons leaking in at a time. This raises concerns because water leaking into the home, can cause many different issues. This can lead to mold, rotting wood, foundation problems, and many other issues in the home. We were able to get her a sales rep that went out for an appointment, he found the root of the issue, and gave her the options that we have to resolve a problem like this. We sent our crew out, and they were able to install a sump pump and drainage line, and these worked together to resolve her issue. The SuperSump is sump pump that gathers the waters and drains it to the drainage line, which is placed outside and away from the home. The crew places the drainage line far enough away from the home to avoid blockage and the water draining back into the home.

The carpet in this customer's finished basement was damaged by water leaks. To fix this problem, we installed an interior perimeter drainage system with a high quality sump pump. This system was designed to intercept the water leaks and direct them to the sump pump, allowing it to pump the water out of the basement quickly and efficiently.
