This homeowner had a vapor barrier that was not even attached, failing to cover the foundation and foundation walls. This attachment left several pockets of air under the barrier, allowing moisture from the ground to collect. This home, built in 1937, developed uneven floor framing due to the use of poor construction materials. We installed our interior, subfloor drainage system, WaterGuard, to protect this water-damaged crawl space walls by capturing water at its entry point and directing it to the new TripleSafe sump pump system.
