Daniel K. of Shelbyville, Illinois had water leaking into his basement, so he decided to call Woods BAsement Systems for help. Systems design specialist, Luke B. was able to find a solution and recommended installing a Twin Pack sump pump and WaterGuard.
Foreman, Joshua B. installed the products. The Twin Pack sump pump is a pair of stainless steel pumps used to protect your home against flooding and leaks. WaterGuard is placed in the perimeter of the basement floor and it works to collect water that seeps through basement walls. It then guides that collected water to the sump pump where it can be removed from the home.
Now Daniel K. has a dry basement.
Homeowners in Bethany, IL wanted to replace their basement window well, as it was rising and water was entering it. To solve this issue, the SunHouse Basement Window Enclosure was installed. This system gives an attractive, bright, and clean solution that keeps rain out, prevents weeds from growing inside, and reflects natural light into the basement. It will never rust, rot, or corrode, and will make a dramatic difference inside and outside the home!
Many homes like this one in Argenta, Illinois have items stored in the basement that need to be protected from water damage. Woods Basement Systems installed WaterGuard in this basement, engineered specifically to solve this water problem effectively.
Water was seeping into a basement in Oakley, IL, causing damage and concern. To solve this issue, the WaterGuard System was first installed. This drainage system is installed adjacent to the home and provides a channel that connects to the sump pump. Its design will drain any wall seepage without allowing dirt and debris from the floor to enter and clog the pipes. Next, the TripleSafe Sump Pump System was installed. This system assures protection from everyday problems with an ordinary pump. The TripleSafe can handle a heavy flow of water, thanks to a secondary pump included inside that will help eliminate the water if the first pump is unable to keep up with the amount of water that is entering it. It also features a removable airtight lid that reduces noise, prevents objects from falling in, and keeps moisture, insects, and odor from coming out of the sump. This basement will now stay dry all the time thanks to these systems!
A crawlspace in Farina, IL, was struggling with humidity and needed to be addressed. The homeowner decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, Clean Space™ was used to encapsulate the crawlspace. This highly durable liner will not only make the crawlspace look nicer, but it will also help to keep humidity out. Next, a SaniDry™ Sedona™ Dehumidifier was installed to lower the humidity in the crawlspace and direct the water to the nearest sump pump. Finally, a sump pump was installed to discharge the water out of the crawlspace. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their basement will remain dry for years to come!
